In Spades, all four players bid a number of tricks. The cards are shuffled and then dealt singly, in clockwise order beginning with the player on dealer's left, until all 52 cards have been dealt and everyone has 13. The first dealer is chosen at random, and the turn to deal rotates clockwise. The cards, in each suit, rank from highest to lowest: A, K, Q, J, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2. Deal and play are clockwise.Ī standard pack of 52 cards is used. The four players are in fixed partnerships, with partners sitting opposite each other. Spades for Four Players Players and Cards I am grateful to Theodore Hwa, Dennis J Barmore, Szu Kay Wong, John Hay, Daniel Hines, and many others who have contributed information on variations. It is most often played as a partnership game by four players, but there are also versions for three, two or six players. Spades is a plain-trick game in which spades are always trumps. After the main description, there is a collection of numerous variations, which are still common in face to face social games. The introduction of of on-line play and tournaments has also led to some standardisation of the rules, and this page has been revised so that the main description conforms to the standard. However, since the mid 1990's Spades has become popular internationally because of its easy availability in on-line card rooms on the Internet. Until recently it has been little known elsewhere, except in a few places where American troops were stationed, for example in parts of Germany. Sunday night I get banned! WTF was that? did I fk with a mod or a developer? and if so.Spades was invented in the USA in the 1930's and is played quite widely in that country. he types from one account to another" don't worry P he will be banned". I told him that he was dumb and could'nt win playing 3 accounts. By that time opp's team time was dwindling so I chated him up and then at 10 seconds. Given all the stalling and the way my P played all along, I've had enough, so I called him out as a cheating 3 accounts playing psycho, his response? are u maaaaaad? and kept typing it. opp's go higher then leads a 2, my p throws club on that and other opp puts the 3. play starts with my pard covering dimes, then switches to Hearts and leads J, I had 4,5,7. Now it's taking my P almost half a minute to lead a card. Then Fourth round I nil, I had a cake and no way to set the nil in an honest game. My pards takes with 10 club and returns another high dimes, I then go higher and return 3 clubs, Bang - nil busted. third round the opp's nil on 6 combined bid, My p leads high dimes and I go higher and return low clubs( I had ace,K,Q,2,3) clubs. Second round same thing happened only this time opp's closed the bid at 8, again My p plays high cards and opp's pick out. I Held my mid cards and ended up making our bid. round starts by my P playing high face and opp's instantly jumping it, second trick opp's play high and so is the third. first round was 9 bid with me closing the bid= I had a nil but also knew nil on an 8 bid was going to be tough to make, someone must been void a suit and chances are my p and I had the same suits so I bid one. So on last Friday night I started a 10 min game, Opps were very slow on each trick. I have seen a lot of high ranking guest account, anyone knows how to keep a guest account? how would I log back with it, etc etc. UPDATE: As of last night I am able to play as a guest, not sure if I can make a new account.
